“The world gives to the givers and takes from the takers.†— Joe Polish, Entrepreneur and founder of Genius Network Interview Series
I write each week because I enjoy it. It makes me feel good.
It’s also become my art form. How I like to express myself.
And writing is also something I do for me. When I write, it’s because I want (or need) to work through an idea. To understand a concept. To grow into something.
And I write because I like to give. People have given to me. And I give to others. This is a better place because we can all receive help and provide help.
And I am proud that the free content I provide is good enough to help many of you leave the law on your own.
So now, let’s think of who you can help.
No, I don’t mean helping the client you don’t align with. Or helping the associate you’re competing with. Or helping the partner you’re actually afraid of.
Working for them is not really help. It’s fear driven reaction.
Help. Real help. Sincere support. Authentic service.
What can you give? Who can you help?
Float up and watch your life as a movie, come, float up, watch yourself, float up in the sky, where we are, how we view you, how we view your movie, the movie in which you are the main hero or heroine, a movie where you are the star, and we are all on the edge of our seats here in the clouds, cloud seats, and we all want you to succeed, and you do succeed, you and we watch you finally and continually realize your potential, finally realize that you have value to give, you can really help people in a meaningful way, you attract people who have a gap, who have a need, who need help … and these people know you can help, and they appreciate you, they marvel at how easy it comes to you, they talk about you to their friends, they happily pay you, they know that what you provide is a great value, and you change lives, and you learn and you grow and you develop and you are thankful … and we lean back in our cloud chairs and we stare at you sitting next to us as you watch your own movie unfold and we know your tears are those of joy … utter, butterflies-in-the-stomach, I-don’t-want-this-to-end, so-this-is-what-a-life-shift-feels-like tears of joy.
